The Collingsworth Family Captivates with Emotional 'God on The Mountain' Performance

A group of incredibly talented singers, The Collingsworth Family, captivated with their beautiful and emotional performance of “God on the Mountain.” The familiar but powerful song is about the mighty God we serve and how He is still on the throne and at work even during the struggles and the hard times. This is a song and a performance that you’ll want to return to repeatedly.

Life isn’t always a fun, happy and joyous experience. Sometimes, it can become downright unpleasant and cruel. Unforeseen situations and circumstances can come along that make life wholly unbearable. Some may even wonder about the Lord’s whereabouts during these instances. What is He doing, and why is He not responding to this situation?

With their lovely rendition of “God on the Mountain,” the Collingsworth Family reminds us that He is still around, working in our lives and in that specific, painful situation. As the lyrics state, the God who blesses, provides and is on the throne when life is good is the same God whenever life brings sorrow, pain or grief.

Not only that, but the wonderfully and powerfully written lyrics remind us that it’s easy to love, praise and honor Him when you’re on the mountaintop. However, those deep, dark valleys and life’s storms will pull, stretch and test your faith. But, again, don’t lose hope; God still reigns even when you’re hurting and struggling. He will see you through.

“For the God on the mountain is still the God in the valley

When things go wrong, He’ll make them right

And the God of the good times is still God in the bad times

The God of the day is still God in the night”

We’d all be better off remembering these lyrics whenever heartache and sorrow strike. Our faith can always become stronger no matter where we are in our walk with the Lord. He is more than capable of handling any situation, issue or problem we may encounter.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”

Mom and Her Two Children Deliver Heartwarming 'Goodness Of God' Performance

A mother and her two children delivered a moving and heartwarming performance of the beloved tune “Goodness of God.”

Human beings are sinners, a fallen bunch who rightfully deserve death and to be lost for all eternity. The Bible states as much, saying that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Scripture also adds that no one is good, not even one, and mentions that the wages of sin are death.

According to Scripture, humans deserve death for their willful disobedience and turning away from God. However, thanks to God’s love, Christ’s death on the cross and His resurrection days later, we have a chance at forgiveness and eternal life with Him someday. We have hope and a future because of His mercy, grace, forgiveness and goodness.

In a clip posted on YouTube, an unbelievably talented trio—a mother and her two children—play “Goodness of God” along a busy street and amass a crowd during their performance. Many are familiar with this song, which has been covered hundreds or even thousands of times.

However, the frequency at which it is played and heard does not diminish the power, truth and meaning of those beautifully written lyrics. God is good and faithful. Not only does He freely offer forgiveness for the repentance of sins, but He continually showers us with His love and blessings long after we first come to and accept Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.

All three musicians in the video have been incredibly blessed. Mom demonstrates her lovely singing voice as her little boy tickles the keys on a keyboard. About halfway through the clip, the woman’s daughter, Karolina Protsenko, a gifted violinist, joins in by showing off her skills on the instrument.

This is a performance that you will likely return to repeatedly. What a stunning display of musical talent from all three musicians!

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

CAIN’s Soul-Stirring Performance of 'Because He Lives'

In a world filled with pain, struggles, and trials, Cain’s soul-stirring performance ‘Because He Lives’ has fans breaking the internet because of the refreshing hope and inspiring message from this classic hymn.

‘Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,

Because He lives, all fear is gone;

Because I know He holds the future,

And life is worth living, Just because He lives!’

The music video for this stunning performance opens with all three standing together with one microphone with a dramatically red background. Together, as they belt out the lyrics, you can’t help but be stunned by the power in their voices and the words.

With each verse, the song builds a compelling case for our faith in Jesus, encouraging fans to open their hearts and trust in the power of Christ. The lyrics speak of the victory we have as we follow Jesus in our lives. We know we can face anything because Jesus lives.

One fan wrote, “Yes He does live. Because of him, my husband was healed this year and kept from death. Praise God!

Another vulnerably shared how God saved her from a life of darkness; she wrote, “Jesus saved me out of being a psychic medium three years ago! He pulled me out of the devil’s grip and redeemed everything he stole from me! He protected my daughter and I, like you would not believe! He is a good Father!”

We can praise God for the lives He is changing. ‘Because He Lives’ is more than just a song, it’s a powerful declaration of the power God has over our lives. He can break the chains holding us back, He can heal, and He can save. This inspiring song reminds us all to keep our faith and believe.

John 11:25 "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.'"

Stunning Performance of 'It Is Well' Captivates

At First Baptist in Clarksville, we, the congregation, were united in this stunning performance of ‘It Is Well,’ a captivating worship hymn. From the moment the first note echoed through the sanctuary, a sense of reverence and awe filled the room. It was as if the Holy Spirit was among us, binding us together.

The lead singer gently strummed his guitar, the piano, and other musical instruments joined in, and then the choir, our choir, added their voices. It was as if heaven was opening up. We, the choir and the audience, closed our eyes, raised our hands, and opened our hearts to praise the Lord, feeling the unity of our worship.

‘My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought

My sin, not in part but the whole

Is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, oh, my soul’

The melody was both beautiful and stunning carrying with it the rich history of the hymn with words that are infused with hope. You can’t help but praise the Lord in gratitude. No matter what you’re facing, trial, challenge, or struggle, the peace that surpasses all understanding embraces you as you lift these beautiful words up to our mighty God.

That’s the thing about hymns; these songs have the ability to bring us closer to God as we reflect on the words and praise God for all that He has done. These timeless hymns are rooted in Scripture and carry messages of God’s promises of His love and faithfulness. It also reminds us we can have unwavering trust in God’s goodness, no matter the circumstance.

We can thank the good Lord for being our anchor in the midst of the storm. We can thank Him for teaching us to trust in Him more deeply and we know that when life is uncertain, our souls can say, ‘It is well’ no matter the circumstance because He is our peace. We hope this song lifted your spirit today.

Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”

Beautiful 'There's Something About That Name' Rendition

In a world filled with noise and chaos, there’s deep comfort in the name of Jesus. Enjoy this beautiful ‘There’s Something About That Name’ Rendition by Joshua Ertle. His stirring rendition invites us into a deeper understanding of the weight of Jesus’ name. It transforms lives, especially our hearts and minds, as we reflect on who Jesus is to us.

“Jesus. Jesus. Jesus.” These words echo like a gentle reminder of the hope we find in Him. The repetition of the lyrics is a chance to focus on our minds on who Christ is as our master, Savior, comforter, and friend.

‘Jesus. Jesus. Jesus.

There is something about that name.

Master. Savior. Jesus.

Like the Fragrance after the rain.’

What an incredible way to describe what Jesus means to us by describing what it’s like to smell the earth after a thunderstorm. The rain washes everything away, leaving everything clean, clear, and new. With Jesus in our lives, we feel the same way. He takes our burdens, our shame, and our struggles and washes it away while helping us see life from His perspective as He continues to write our stories. No matter what we are facing, we can go on knowing He isn’t finished with us yet.

When we proclaim, ‘Let all of heaven and earth proclaim,’ we are joining the heavens and all of the earth as we rejoice in the mighty name of Christ. Kingdoms may rise and fall, but Jesus will forever remain. Struggles and circumstances will come, but Jesus will remain the same. Let this music video be a chance to let His presence wash over you and comfort your heart today. May this moment be a moment of uplifting encouragement.

Philippians 2:9-10 “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.”

Dennis Quaid Heartfelt 'What A Friend We Have In Jesus' Live Performance

Who knew this guy was so multi-talented? Listen to Dennis Quaid’s heartfelt ‘What A Friend We Have In Jesus’ live performance at Gaither Studios. It’s a beautiful country; you don’t want to miss the Gospel rendition.

Dennis is well known for his successful acting career and has been open about his faith in Christ. He’s played in several Christian movies like I Can Only Imagine and On A Wing and A Prayer. It’s so encouraging to see celebrities like Dennis use his platform to point others to Christ. The goal of this performance was to point everyone to the friend we have in Jesus.

At the start of the video, we see a confident Dennis full of reverence as he strums the first few notes of the hymn. As he sings the first verse of the song, his strong country-style voice carries us straight to the cross and reminds us that we indeed have a friend in Jesus. He’s the one we can run to and lay down our burdens. I love Dennis’ unique voice singing such precious words the most.

‘What a friend we have in Jesus

All our sins and griefs to bear

What a privilege to carry

Everything to God in prayer’

The band joins in with the piano and sings the harmony as Dennis continues to sing each word full of faith. He reminds everyone with his southern, gritty voice what a privilege it is to know our Savior on a personal level. I love that he chose to sing this particular hymn that has been around since 1855 when a preacher by the name of Joseph Scriven originally wrote it as a poem for his mother. It was later turned into a hymn in 1868. Isn’t it incredible how words stand the test of time when they hit our hearts? Here we are hundreds of years later, grateful to worship a God who is our Savior and our friend.

As the song comes to an end, Dennis looks out at the crowd and reminds them, “Wherever you are, if you’re in need, if you’re in doubt, if you’re in pain, call out his name. He’ll be listening.” Can I get an amen? No matter what burdens you carry, call out Jesus’ name. He’s listening.
