Young Woman's Performance Of A Phantom of the Opera Song Mesmerizes

In this video, we get to hear Emma-Jean Galliard, from Johannesburg, sing a wonderful version of the song ‘Love Never Dies’ from the musical Love Never Dies.

Her voice is exquisite, and she has a powerful voice that is made for this type of music. Her performance reminds you of being at the actual musical.

Love Never Dies is the sequel to the 1986 musical The Phantom of the Opera and is a loose adaptation of Frederick Forsyth’s 1999 novel, The Phantom of Manhattan. The music is by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The musical takes place about 10 years after the end of the original musical. The show opened back in 2010.

The song, ‘Love Never Dies,’ is sung originally by the character Christine in the musical. It begins with:

“Who knows when love begins?

Who knows what makes it start?

One day it's simply there

Alive inside your heart”

‘Love Never Dies’ is about how love never dies, never falters, never fades, never alters, and endures.

Emma-Jean is an amazing singer and often sings with her father on her account. They perform at corporate and charity events as well as host soirees. They enjoy singing classical and popular songs and bring entertainment to many around the world.

Emma-Jean has a lot of fans in the comments. One commenter said, “Emma Jean... Bravo! Superstar... your voice is perfect! Your range and power are stunning. Keep it up, young lady, and tell your Dad that we said hello!” and another, “Outstanding! A star in the making I feel. A unique voice with a blend of Barbara Streisand and Katherine Jenkins type qualities. Emma-Jean has a great future ahead of her.”

“What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.” - 1 Corinthians 14:15

Mother and Son Deliver Stirring Performance of John Lennon's 'Imagine

A mother and her son turned in a stirring and awe-inspiring performance of the late John Lennon’s classic and iconic tune “Imagine.”

There exists a limited number of songs that most people recognize almost instantly. The first few notes of these songs are played, and everyone within earshot knows the name of the song and the performer. It’s also likely given how many times they’ve heard the song and how familiar they are with the tune, they could sing along verbatim.

The Rolling Stones are responsible for some of these types of songs. Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll, also contributed several. However, some may argue and are likely right that The Beatles have the most instantly recognizable songs of all time. But that is not an accomplishment limited to The Beatles as a group. Individual band members, such as John Lennon, managed to do this.

“Imagine,” written and performed by John, is a universally known song that is beloved by many. In a clip posted on YouTube, Katherine Hallam and Jordan Rabjohn put on a delightful and lovely cover performance of the John Lennon classic.

“You may say I’m a dreamer

But I’m not only the only one

I hope someday you’ll join us

And the world will be as one”

Mom and son sound terrific, perfectly blending their voices to create an outstanding cover. Both have been blessed with angelic voices that could be listened to repeatedly. Either of them could sing the phonebook, and it would still be a feast for the ears. They also seem to genuinely enjoy each other’s company, giggling and smiling throughout the nearly 3-and-a-half-minute clip.

Hopefully, these two continue to produce these stunning and astounding duets where they sing classic songs as they bless us with their God-given talent for music.

Woman's Incredible Fiddle Performance Wows Audience And Band

This TikTok video is a fun reminder that you should always be open to trying something new. And that it is okay to step out of your comfort zone when asked to do so.

The video’s text says, “Went to a bar in Nashville and my mom told the band she plays the fiddle. The fiddle player decided to hand off his fiddle to my mom mid song and they didn’t expect her to absolutely shred.”

And shred, she definitely did. If you didn’t know any better, you could assume she was a part of the band. She picked up the fiddle and went for it, not holding back in any way.

There are always opportunities in life to step out of your comfort zone, share your talents, and make a new memory. You never know what can happen.

Those in the comments really enjoyed the clip.

“She showed up and showed off! And she didn’t even take her coat off!”

“never underestimate what mom can do 🥰🥰🥰.”

“She understood the assignment great job mom”

There is really no difference between the violin and the fiddle other than the style of music that each plays. Fiddle players typically play bluegrass, country, and folk music, such as she is playing in this video. Violin players tend to play classical music. The fiddle is the more catchy, upbeat version of the music you can make with the bowed, stringed musical instrument.

We don’t know from the video how long the mom has been playing the fiddle, but it’s clear she has been doing so for a while. She wasn’t afraid to pick it up and show off her amazing talent.

Young Girls' Moving Rendition Of 'Way Maker'

Several young girls turned in a moving and stunning rendition of the popular gospel tune “Way Maker.”

The world is a lost, fallen and broken place. Unfortunately, people all around us – friends, neighbors and even family members – are hurting and struggling. Many find themselves in seemingly hopeless situations, with nowhere to turn. They see nothing but devastation and despair.

However, there is one who brought hope into a lost, dreary and broken world. He can interject life and hope into a situation that appears to be completely void of hope. He can make something beautiful out of a heaping pile of ashes.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of young women sings “Way Maker,” a tune about Christ and the difference and change He and He alone can bring about.

“You are

Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper

Light in the darkness

My God, that is who You are”

Many are fighting battles that we could only imagine. Many people are without hope. Sadly, they can see no end to their hurting and struggle. But there is one who can provide a hope and peace like none other. As the song mentions, He is a miracle worker, who continues to change and impact lives today.

His forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal salvation with Him are gifts offered to everyone who calls upon His name. He can do what none other can because He did what none else could. He willingly went to the cross, taking all sin and shame upon Himself, dying a horrible and agonizing death. But that’s not where the story ends, days later, He rose from the grave, winning victory over sin and death.

Christ is indeed a miracle worker, way maker and a promise keeper.

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the true and living way: no one comes to the Father but by me.’

Life In 3D's Soul-Stirring 'You Raise Me Up' Cover Strikes A Powerful Note

An incredibly talented trio of siblings called Life in 3D turned in a soul-stirring cover performance of “You Raise Me Up,” which strikes a powerful note.

Attempting to cover songs from a select group of performers sets you up for failure. Those tunes are often so beloved and sung by musicians with such powerful and distinctive voices that it’s nearly impossible to replicate. Any deviation from the original version will likely be met with widespread disapproval.

Anyone who goes on The Voice, American Idol or America’s Got Talent and attempts to sing a track from Adele, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston or Aretha Franklin better be able to sing. All those women were blessed with strong and powerful voices.

Another person who could be added to that group of singers with amazingly powerful voices is Josh Groban. His stunning, operatic voice is best known for belting out the lyrics to “You Raise Me Up.” Anyone following him better bring it, or they will likely fall flat on their face.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Life in 3D brought it, and then some, showing off the strength of their awe-inspiring voices and beautiful harmonies.

“You raise me up so I can stand on mountains

You raise me up to walk on stormy seas

I am strong when I am on your shoulders

You raise me up to more than I can be”

The three young singers’ rendition of the Josh Groban hit is fantastic - a statement that will likely get 100% agreement. It’s a version that you’ll want to listen to and watch repeatedly.

Additionally, their performance goes along with the song’s lyrics about being better and being able to do more because of someone else. This cover performance is made exponentially better by the presence and talents of all three singers.

Massive Ensemble Delivers Electrifying Rendition of CCR Classic 'Have You Ever Seen The Rain?'

A massive ensemble of musicians delivered an electrifying rendition of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s classic tune “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?”

The 1960s and 70s were a great time for music fans. Those decades provided some great, timeless tunes that are still widely played and heavily covered today. The chances are that any great, classic rock band or musician you would name was probably active in those decades.

The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley and The Eagles were all in their heydays in those years. That’s just a tiny sampling of the groups turning out unforgettable tunes. Other groups such as Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac and The Beach Boys were also doing their thing in that timeframe.

Another group around during the 60s and 70s that has an endless collection of hits is Creedence Clearwater Revival. Their rock and country-infused songs, beautiful and incredibly catchy lyrics and John Fogerty’s distinctive voice create that unmistakable CCR sound.

A clip posted on YouTube shows thousands of musicians combining their musical talents for an awe-inspiring performance of CCR’s beloved hit “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?”

There’s a calm before the storm

I know, it’s been comin’ for some time

When it’s over, so they say”

In the mind-blowing video, the guitarists accompany thousands of seats as they all strum on their instruments, playing the song. While the sound is fantastic, the sight of all those people playing in near-perfect coordination is magnificent.

And it’s not just people who were alive when the song was first released who have joined in on the performance. The musicians are young, old, teenagers, children and everything in between.

Not only did the musicians play their guitars, but they also lent their vocals, singing the lyrics first made famous by John Fogerty and CCR.

14-year-old Rhys McPhillips certainly makes an impression while performing with popular street performer and YouTube personality, Allie Sherlock. The two are able to create a magical show together.

It is hard to believe Rhys is just 14 years old. He has an amazing voice and has a big career ahead of him. He knows how to sing and make music that others can enjoy.

‘Johnny B. Goode’ is a song by Chuck Berry that was released in 1958. It is quite popular and a staple of rock music.

“Deep down in Louisiana close to New Orleans

Way back up in the woods among the evergreens

There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood

Where lived a country boy named Johnny B. Goode”

It is the story of a semi-literate “country boy” who plays a guitar and is a bit autobiographical in nature. The song is well-known for many generations, whether they have grown up listening to it or first heard it in a popular movie such as Back to the Future.

Young Woman Stuns With Her Dazzling Tap-Dancing Moves

A young woman showed off her God-given talent as she stunned with her dazzling tap-dancing moves.

Dance, when done correctly, is the most beautiful art form. Yes, gifted painters have and still do create majestic and mind-blowing pieces of art that will leave your jaw on the floor. Also, skilled and able filmmakers can weave together images and clips that will move you emotionally and leave you thinking differently.

However, dance is an art form and an athletic pursuit. Dancers must be both artistic and athletic. Creativity and athleticism are two significant components of dance. Mastering dance requires taking direction and a significant investment of time and energy. Also, one must be literally quick on their feet and nimble on their toes.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a young lady demonstrated her dance skills in what appears to be a public walkway of some kind. Her tap-dancing moves and the speed at which she kicks up her feet are mesmerizing, instantly captivating your attention.

The short, 4-minute video begins with a middle-aged man sitting and tickling the keys on a piano. When the young woman approaches him, he is minding his own business, playing beautiful music for those walking by.

“Excuse me, do you know any tap-dance music?” she asks the gentleman at the piano.

He mentions that he’ll see if he can come up with something for her. Seconds later, the man trades in his classical tune for an upbeat and more energetic song, and then she’s off, putting on a tap-dancing clinic.

She is thoroughly impressive as she stays perfectly in sync with the song. The young lady’s performance also picks up an audience, with several people passing through, stopping momentarily to take in the free show.

Psalm 149:3 “Let them give praise to his name in the dance: let them make melody to him with instruments of brass and corded instruments of music.”

“But Saturday night is the loneliest night in the week

I sing the song that I sang for the memories I usually seek

Until I hear you at the door

Until you're in my arms once more

Saturday night is the loneliest night in the week”

The song is by Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn. According to Sammy Cahn, the song refers to show business people who are not working on Saturday nights, They stay in and are not out with other people, and would be missing them.

Senior Chorus Inspires With Uplifting Rendition Of 'What A Wonderful World'

This video is of the Seniors Dream Chorus singing ‘What a Wonderful World.’

This song was performed live at the 2024 Next Generation Barbershop Junior Chorus Festival presented by the Barbershop Harmony Society in January 2024 in New York City.

The chorus consists of two women and 14 men who harmonize beautifully together.

‘What a Wonderful World’ was first recorded by Louis Armstrong and released in 1967. While the song gained popularity in the UK, it didn’t in the United States. However, the song was reissued as a single in 1988 after it was heard in the film Good Morning, Vietnam.

The lyrics begin with:

“I see trees of green

Red roses too

I see them bloom

For me and you”

And eventually lead into “What a wonderful world…”

The song is about how there are so many good things to focus on in the world. There is so much color and beauty, from the trees to the rainbows. It can remind us about God’s creation and all he has made for us to enjoy here on earth.

In daily life, we can get so focused on the negative, but if we take the time to look around and see what is out there, we can truly see the beauty in the world and enjoy it.

‘What a Wonderful World’ is a beautiful choice as a piece for a chorus to sing in a live performance. Many people in the audience would be familiar with the song, and it flows effortlessly, using different harmonies.

“But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.” - Job 12: 7-10

72-Year-Old Grandma Stuns With Rocking Drum Performance On Jennifer Hudson Show

One woman, a 72-year-old grandmother, stunned all with her rocking drum performance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

Musicians are a special group of people who have been blessed with the God-given gift for creating beautiful music. Now, those who have been equipped with musical skills may find they have a natural aptitude for one instrument over another. One person might find themselves drawn to the guitar, violin, or cello, while another individual may prefer the trumpet, harmonica, or trombone.

Some may discover that they aren't meant to play an instrument at all. Instead, they may be a terrific singer or have the ability to easily craft and write songs. Whatever the case may be, those with an interest in and skills in music are bound to find something for them.

Dorothea Taylor is a whiz on the drums. She can keep a beat and maintain a rhythm with relative ease. It's something that she has been doing for 60 years!

In a clip posted on YouTube, Dorothea demonstrated her immense skills and talent on the drums during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. The grandmother rocks out, playing "Stay Away," a tune from the legendary grunge-era band Nirvana.

The drummer doesn't miss a note, beating the drums right on cue, much to the studio audience's delight. Her immense skill has the studio audience hooting and hollering as Dorothea puts on a fascinating and captivating display of musical talent.

Jennifer is also completely mesmerized by Dorothea's stunning performance, seemingly unable to take her eyes off Dorothea as she plays.

Dorothea is amazing!

Not only does Dorothea dazzle on the drums, but she also gives Jennifer a quick lesson on the drums. Jennifer may be a Grammy Award-winning musician, but Dorothea has her beat when it comes to the drums.

Trisha Yearwood stood tall among the legends, her name forever etched into the halls of music history alongside her longtime friend, Don Henley, whose unwavering friendship truly made this performance unforgettable.

Teen Violinist's Jaw-Dropping Cover Of 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You'

One talented teen violinist turned in a jaw-dropping and extraordinary cover of the beloved classic hit “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.”

Most of the music produced today and over the years is simply no good. Sure, a song and a band may be popular for a couple of years, making music that becomes a hit on pop radio and charts relatively well. But give that same tune and band a couple of years, and you’re bound to forget that it even existed.

For the most part, music doesn’t age well or is even forgotten altogether. However, classics age like fine wine, only getting better with age. Classics would be a hit regardless of the decade they were released. Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons had a string of hits that are remembered and covered decades after they first hit the radio.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the always popular and uber-talented violinist Karolina Protsenko covered “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” Like every other cover the young woman puts out on the video site, it’s a dazzling and breathtaking rendition of a beloved hit.

As she plays the tune, you can’t help but hum or even sing out loud those memorable lyrics first sung by the incomparable Frankie Valli.

“You’re just too good to be true

Can’t take my eyes off of you

You’d be like heaven to touch

I wanna hold you so much”

Karolina is a talented musician who has demonstrated repeatedly that she can play anything and everything. But as she does in every clip, she genuinely seems to love performing and playing the violin. Throughout this short, 3-and-a-half-minute clip, she dances around the street, smiling and grinning as she performs.

Who knows what song the young and talented musician will play next? Whatever it is, it’s guaranteed to be worth several listens!

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Men's Choir Nails 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' by The Beach Boys

Check out this wonderful performance by a men’s choir singing the song ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice’ by the well-known band The Beach Boys.

“Wouldn't it be nice if we were older?

Then we wouldn't have to wait so long

And wouldn't it be nice to live together

In the kind of world where we belong?”

What an excellent rendition of this popular song by one of the biggest bands of the 50s and 60s! The singers in the video are part of the barbershop group known as Parkside Harmony from Hershey, PA. They are performing live at the Barbershop Harmony Society's 2024 Midwinter Convention in New York City, which happens every year.

In the video, you can see that the large choir group is full of talented men singing ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice’ in different parts. This style is called barbershop harmony which is unaccompanied vocal music characterized by consonant four-part chords for every melody note.

The melody is consistently sung by the lead which is the second tenor part. The first tenor harmonizes above the melody, the bass sings the lowest harmonizing notes, and the baritone completes the chord. Together, the band makes a beautiful type of music.

The song ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice,’ was first released by The Beach Boys on May 14, 1966, as the opening track on their album Pet Sounds. The song eventually peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has become an enduring classic all its own. The lyrics tell of a budding romance between two lovers who long for a little more time together.

We hope you enjoyed listening to this barbershop group performance of ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice’ and it put a smile on your face today!

“Saying, I will declare your name to my brothers, in the middle of the church will I sing praise to you.” - Hebrews 2:12

Dolly Parton Joins Forces With Pitbull For Electrifying '9 To 5' Revamp

The legendary Dolly Parton has teamed up with rapper Pitbull for an electrifying and stunning reimagining of her classic tune “9 to 5.”

Dolly is a Hollywood icon. She has experienced an illustrious career that has spanned decades. Over the years, Dolly has proven repeatedly she is a multi-talented entertainer. She has made many appearances on the big screen and television and has had several chart-topping, legendary hit songs. In her late 70s, Dolly has shown no signs of slowing down.

One of the songs and films that immediately comes to mind when thinking of Dolly Parton is “9 to 5.” The classic 1980 film stars Dolly, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as three women working in an office fighting for equality while battling their sexist boss. Of course, Dolly sang the film’s title song, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Since its release more than 40 years ago, Dolly’s catchy, upbeat and energetic “9 to 5” tune has become a classic. In a clip posted on YouTube, Dolly partnered with Pitbull on his song “Powerful Women.”

In the song, Dolly belts out the memorable and toe-tapping “9 to 5” chorus.

“Workin nine to five

What a way to make a livin’

Barely, gettin’ by

It’s all talkin’ and no givin’”

Even if you’re not a big Dolly Parton or Pitbull fan, this song is so much fun. It’s hard to listen to this song and not move your foot along to the beat. How can you not enjoy this upbeat and catchy song?

Once again, even in her late 70s, Dolly Parton has proven that she still has it. She is a legendary entertainer who constantly puts out quality work when it would be much easier to slow down and take things easy.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Father and Daughter Light Up the Screen with Perfect Lip-Sync of 'Footloose'

A father and his little girl showed off their impressive, quick-footed dance moves with their perfect lip-sync of Kenny Loggins’ hit “Footloose.”

As all parents know, children are only little for a short, brief time. Childhood is a precious period in a child’s and a parent’s life that must be treasured and cherished. Blink, and it’s over. Children grow up entirely too fast. One minute, those children are learning how to walk and talk. Next, they are graduating from high school and moving out on their own.

That’s why parents finding time and activities to bond and create with their children is so important. Whatever the kid enjoys doing, go do that with them, especially when they ask you to be involved. Parents also know there will come a time – the teenage years – when kids want nothing to do with mom and dad.

One father has found a unique way to spend time with his daughter. Ben and Zara are a father-daughter team who create and post videos of them lip-syncing and dancing to some of the most memorable, iconic songs in music history.

In one of their latest videos, Ben and Zara dance and pretend to sing Kenny Loggins’ hit from the 1980s, “Footloose.” Dressed as construction workers, Ben and Zara rock out to the beloved song. Then, they are instantly transported to a new location, wearing clothes that Kevin Bacon’s character would have worn in the film “Footloose.”

“So now I gotta cut loose

Footloose

Kick off the Sunday shoes

Please, Louise”

While the clip is short, similar to the song, Ben and Zara’s dancing and “singing” are infectious. Their moves and energy are enough to make you act like Kevin Bacon’s character in the film and get up and dance.

Lindsey Stirling And Gardiner Brothers Dazzling Performance On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

This is an amazing work of art and creativity. Check on Lindsey Stirling and Gardiner Brothers' dazzling performance on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Lindsey is an incredible violinist, dancer, and performer. She stands up front confidently in her edgy all-black outfit. She and the boys are standing on the Hollywood stars in LA. Behind her, the Gardiner Brothers begin Irish step dancing with Lindsey as she plays the violin. They switch positions as she goes to the back, and they are in unison with their steps and routine. It is mesmerizing and a group of high-level talent.

As they film this routine, a crowd of pedestrians gather to join in by viewing the fun. The trio combines hip hop, classical, and tap in a blend of modern dance meets classical music. It is stunning to see the inventive mindset of this group to draw a young audience to a more traditional instrument.

You do not hear violin on most top hit songs, but Lindsey is taking the social media world by storm. She is always growing in popularity and exposing the next generation to timeless classical pieces in a culturally exciting way. She is brilliant. The elements of entertainment, precision, and pure happiness are shown in this clip. Their performance leads us to want to see even more.

The Bible might be an older book, but the message is always perfect and active in every generation. God has spoken clearly to us. Just like Lindsey has learned to bring the message of her music in a creative way to the culture, may we be reminded to share our faith and the gospel in new ways while standing on eternal truth to reach the world around us.

“But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.” Psalm 33:11

Celtic Thunder Stunning Cover Of Dan + Shay's 'From The Ground Up'

Celtic Thunder offers up a stunning cover of Dan + Shay’s romantic song, “From the Ground Up.” It’s a visual and auditory delight! Check out the video!

Written by Dan Smyers, Shay Mooney, and Chris DeStefano, “From the Ground Up” was recorded in 2015 and released on February 5, 2016. The song was inspired by Dan and Shay’s grandparents and tells the story of finding true love and building a life with that person.

The song made Brides list of “85 Incredible First Dance Songs for Your Wedding” in their October 2023 issue. Reminiscent of Vince Gill’s “Look at Us” released in 1991, Dan + Shay’s song pays tribute to those who have stuck with one another—deeply loved and honored one another—through thick and thin.

Dan + Shay’s country song is a gem, as is Celtic Thunder’s cover!

There are ten musicians positioned across the blue-and-purple, stone-look stage. Orange beams shine on them and mimic a sunset. A video plays in an oval frame behind the performers. It features a couple walking the beach alone and with children, depicting the growth of a family over the years.

Celtic Thunder is live in Dublin for this performance. The song’s lyrics are printed in white against a green band and appear at the bottom of the video; the font is quintessentially Irish. Two guitarists wear kilts and boots, and the ladies are dressed in formal gowns; they play the harp and violin. There is a drummer, two gents on pianos, one man on the mandolin, and the two singers; they also play guitars. There are extra instruments available as well, a testament to the talent of Celtic Thunder’s band members.

All together, they create a beautiful rendition of Dan + Shay’s inspiring song! While the drummer appears pretty serious as he brushes his snares and cymbals, the singers smile as they deliver the sweet story of lifelong partners. If you have a grown daughter, you might be wishing for a guy like one of them for her!

At 2:45, the taller singer takes the lead, and the two harmonize through a series of “whoas,” and it’s super pretty.

Great lyrics, a lovely backdrop, and stellar musicians! This is one to remember, not just on wedding days. No, it’s one to play on any old day!

“However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” Ephesians 5:33

Teen Violinist Plays 'As Good As I Once Was' In Tribute To The Late Toby Keith

An incredibly talented teenage violinist, Karolina Protsenko, turned in a terrific performance, covering the late Toby Keith’s classic “As Good as I Once Was.”

No one knows how much time they’ve been given on this Earth. Chances are that it's shorter than we anticipate. Everyone wants to believe that they will experience a long life. But sadly, that’s not always the case. Life is so unpredictable that a loved one could be here one moment and then gone the next.

In early February 2023, country singer-songwriter Toby Keith passed away at 62. His death came after he battled stomach cancer for several years. His death sent shockwaves through country music and all of entertainment. His death served as another reminder that, at some point, we’ll all experience death.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Karolina played “one of her favorite songs of his,” “As Good as I Once Was,” on her violin in tribute to the late musician.

While donning a cowboy hat, Karolina beautifully plucks her violin, playing the familiar and beloved country tune.

“I ain’t as good as I once was

My how the years have flown

But there was a time, back in my prime

When I could really hold my own”

Toby’s song perfectly captures what everyone feels and experiences as we age. As we slowly get older, and spend more time on this Earth, we soon realize that we can’t do everything as well as we could. We are no longer children, basking in our youth. Things take more time to complete, reflexes may be a little slower, eyesight may diminish and the hair on your head may have started to disappear.

But one thing that we can count on, no matter if we’re 5 or 95, is Christ’s love and faithfulness. It will never change. He is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and 10, 20 and 100 years from now.

2 Corinthians 4:16 “For which cause we do not give way to weariness; but though our outer man is getting feebler, our inner man is made new day by day.”
