Shane Shane Deliver Moving Acoustic Performance of 'Psalm 34 (Taste and See)'

A massively talented Christian music duo, Shane & Shane, gave a moving acoustic performance of “Psalm 34 (Taste and See).”

The world can leave even the most sane and well-adjusted person with dozens of questions, often pushing them to the brink. Situations and circumstances can be overwhelming and confusing. Doubts and questions about God may pop up in even the most faithful and committed followers’ minds.

If they are honest, most people will admit to a time or two when they questioned God and His plan. Times will occur when we might feel and believe that God no longer cares, is not listening and has gone missing. Sadly, doubt and fear are natural and part of our human nature.

But God is faithful, righteous and loving and never leaves nor forsakes us, especially during our time of need. Call upon Him, and He will answer. Reach out to Him, and He will respond.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the praise and worship duo Shane & Shane (Shane Barnard and Shane Everett) put on a stunning and moving acoustic performance of “Psalm 34 (Taste and See).”

Of course, as the song’s title indicates, the lyrics are from Psalm 34 in the Old Testament, originally written by David. The lyrics are absolutely beautiful about believing in and trusting the Lord during life’s storms and battles. Not only is it about trusting Him, but the tune is also about God's faithfulness and how He delivers each and every time.

The song’s opening verse perfectly captures God’s enduring love and faithfulness.

“I sought the Lord

And He answered me

And delivered me

From every fear”

 Praise God!

As Shane and Shane sing and the psalmist originally wrote, God does not respond 10% or 50% of the time but every single time. He is faithful.

Psalm 34:4 “I was searching for the Lord, and he gave ear to my voice, and made me free from all my fears.”

Phil Wickham Captivating 'Back To Life' Live Rendition

Massively talented and hugely popular Christian musician Phil Wickham turned in an utterly captivating and stunning live rendition of “Back to Life.”

Death is sadly something that all will experience. It’s likely that it has already touched and impacted our lives in one way or another. Whenever those instances of death do occur in our lives, when we lose a loved one, it’s a season filled with immense pain, hurt and heartache.

However, whenever someone thinks about death, they immediately think of a physical death. Yes, all will experience a physical death. Our bodies are temporary and will eventually wear out and waste away. But there is another type of being dead, one that can and does happen when someone is still alive. It’s called being spiritually dead.

In his song “Back to Life,” Phil Wickham sings about being brought back to life by the life-changing power and love of Jesus Christ. The song is about being dead spiritually, living in sin and leading a life contrary to Christ's teachings and commands.

However, Christ does spiritually bring people back to life. He freely offers forgiveness, hope, love and a future. He can take someone dead in their sin, the absolute worst sinner and bring them back to life, giving them a purpose and future.

Phil’s beautiful lyrics capture the significant change that takes place when someone turns to Christ, and He brings them back to life spiritually.

“Where was dead religion

Now, there is living faith

All of my hope and freedom

I found in Jesus name”

As Phil adds in the song, when we are brought back to life by Him, it is no longer us but Christ who lives in us. The Bible mentions that if we are in Christ, we are actually made new and become an entirely different creation.

Praise His excellent name!

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Bethel Music And Jenn Johnson Emotional '10,000 Reasons' Performance

Listen to this beautiful performance from Bethel Music and Jenn Johnson of the worship song ‘10,000 Reasons.’ Hearing these powerful lyrics just makes my soul soar!

“Bless the Lord oh my soul,

Oh my soul

Worship His Holy name,

Sing like never before,

Oh my soul,

I'll worship Your Holy name”

What an emotional and powerful performance of ‘10,000 Reasons’ at Bethel Church in Redding, California, by Jenn Johnson. And many people online were also touched when they saw the video of this rendition.

“Jenn Johnson's performance of the song ‘10,000 Reasons’ is so powerful and new. The song makes the heart overflow with emotions,” writes one person after watching the video on YouTube.

“God bless you, Jenn. Pure, natural, and intense worship,” comments another person online.

Matt Redman originally wrote the song ‘10,000 Reasons.’ And he shared what inspired the lyrics of this wonderful song.

“I’ve always loved Psalm 103 and how the writer lists all of these brilliant reasons why his heart is full of worship for God: he heals our diseases, redeems our lives from the pit, crowns us with love and compassion, etc,” said Matt Redman. “So in the verses of this song, we try and make a little list of our own—noting, of course, that we’re hardly even scratching the surface of God’s worth—there are ‘10,000 Reasons’ for our hearts to find. With anyone or anything else, that would be an outrageous overstatement. With Jesus, it is a huge understatement.”

We hope you enjoyed listening to Jenn Johnson’s rendition of this classic worship song today. May it bring you some joy and encouragement.

“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’” Matthew 22:37

CAIN And Isaiah Templeton Lyric Video For Inspiring 'The Commission (Got Tell The World)'

Listen to this inspiring song by the band CAIN and featuring Isaiah Templeton titled 'The Commission (Got Tell The World).' The lyrics remind us of our calling to share the Good News of Jesus!

“Go tell the world about me,

I was dead but now I live,

I’ve gotta go now for a little while

But goodbye is not the end”

Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, Logan Cain, Carter Frodge, and Blake NeeSmith wrote this beautiful song. The lyrics are written from the point of view of Jesus and show our Savior’s humanity. They show what Jesus must have felt as He was preparing to return to Heaven.

“If you hear this song and feel like Jesus is talking to you, it’s because He is,” shares Madison Cain Johnson of the band CAIN. “Jesus Christ, who has felt everything that you’re feeling, He is real. He is alive. He is with you.”

The words in 'The Commission (Got Tell The World)' are similar to the text in Matthew 28, but the perspective of Jesus was just shared in this song using everyday language.

“The power in this song is that although we did write it, we really didn’t write it. It’s Scripture,” says Madison Cain Johnson.

The song touched many people online, and they shared how it impacted them.

“Whew, needed to hear this tonight. Darkness doesn’t win over us,” comments one person on YouTube. “Love to all, remember He created you, you are worthy.”

“The purpose of life on this earth is found in the lyrics of this beautiful song!” writes another person online.

We hope you enjoyed listening to 'The Commission (Got Tell The World)’ by CAIN today!

“Go then, and make disciples of all the nations, giving them baptism in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19

Behold The Man

You can study every famous person in history, but you will not find anyone who compares to Jesus. Jesus is the Son of God and Son of Man. Seek Him and study Him. Jesus overcame the devil, sin, and death by being totally humble. His submission gave not only Him, but us, victory. Behold Him continually. You will never be the same. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. II Corinthians 3:18

Anne Wilson Reveals Why She Sings About Jesus In Official ‘Songs About Whiskey’ Video

Christian musician Anne Willson reveals why she chooses to sing and write songs about Jesus Christ instead of many other topics in the official music video for her song “Songs About Whiskey.”

Musicians will and have written songs about every topic and subject imaginable. Think of a topic, and more than likely, there is a song or several about that subject. Songwriters and musicians are constantly searching for inspiration, something that sparks a lyric, a chorus or a melody that eventually turns into a song.

However, as you’ve probably already found out, it seems that musicians, especially those on pop and country radio, choose to write about things of this world. Love is always a popular subject for songwriters. But so are money, drugs, violence and alcohol.

In the official video for her catchy and upbeat song, “Songs about Whiskey,” Anne explains why she chooses to sing about Jesus and not the other subjects that many other musicians commonly sing about. In particular, Anne gives her reasoning for singing about Jesus Christ in the chorus.

“I guess I’m just kinda fixed on

The only thing that’s ever fixed me

That’s why I sing songs about Jesus

Instead of singing songs about whiskey”

Another reason Anne sings and writes songs about Jesus Christ is that she knows Him. She is familiar with His love, mercy, grace and faithfulness. Whenever someone experiences writer’s block, they are commonly told to go back and write about what they know. That makes sense.

Why waste your time writing about something that you know absolutely nothing about?

Anne also adds that things about this world, topics that other musicians write about, will only fill you up for a short time. They are temporary. But Jesus Christ is forever, as is the difference He makes in people’s lives.

Your will be done

On the evening before Good Friday in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus reached both the lowest and the highest points of His mission. He had been betrayed by one disciple, denied by another and abandoned by the rest. In the next few hours, He would face the prospect of an agonising death on a cross which He could have escaped because He had done nothing wrong but ... He accepted that this was the only way to save us and that it was in obedience to His Father's will that He would give up His life in this way.
